Rodney Powell

Rodney, and wife, Tamara, relocated to Freeport in 2014 and settled in the Rockton area in 2023, but are originally from Monroe, Louisiana. They have been married since 1983 and together have three adult children and two grandsons all of whom have relocated to the area. Having accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior around age 10, Rodney seeks to faithfully follow the Lord’s admonition to have eyes that see, ears that hear and a heart that always desires the sincere truth of God’s word. Rodney has served the church in various capacities including Sunday school teacher, Treasurer, Business Affairs Trustee, and Elder. Rodney and Tamara have been members of Park Hills since 2015. Rodney is a Certified Public Accountant.
