ENGAGE HS

The book of James is likely written by Jesus' half brother, James. He writes this book with great wisdom for the purpose of practical Christian living. After we finish the Hebrews Hall of Faith, our hope is to urge students to not just look to others as examples of faith, but be living examples of faith themselves. It's time for us to take ownership of our faith and live it out! However, as we all know, it's not always easy to do so in the world that we live in. The world often teaches us the wrong way to live, but we see it as right. However, the Bible, especially the book of James, reminds us that world is leading us astray from right living, or living God's way. As we dive into James, he is going to encourage us all to live out real faith in a fake world. It may feel wrong or backwards, but it's the right way to live as God's people.
