About Us

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." -Matthew 28:19-20

Knowing, Loving, Following Jesus Together

Who We Are:
We are a community sharing a common faith in God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. This faith binds us together as a spiritual family and unites us in a common purpose. It is our desire to be a people of biblical perspective - sharing, growing, and learning together about God and His purpose for our lives.

We are part of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), an association of about 1321 autonomous churches and 177 church plants, who are united by a mutual commitment to serve the Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in obedience to the Word of God. Description of a Discipled Person (DDP):
As we grow in relationship with Christ, there are attributes that grow in us and help us to develop as fully mature disciples. We call this list of attributes a Description of a Discipled Person. A discipled person is marked by a desire to:
  • Love God and His Word
  • Love Others
  • Depend on Prayer
  • Depend on the Holy Spirit
  • Live Life as Worship
  • Live a Life that Bears Fruit
Our Vision:
Carry Jesus into everyday life and foster authentic disciple-making relationships.
Our Purpose:
Our purpose is to equip our family, share the good news of Jesus Christ with others, and teach others how to know Jesus. We believe God has called us together as a church to share the good news of what Jesus has done for humanity, and as we love Him, to help others develop their faith in God.
Our Approach:
We strive to encourage our family and be a light to our community by taking truth from the Bible and applying it to our culture in relevant ways. The principles we follow in our approach can be summed up in three words:
  • Biblical – the Bible is our authority and guide for all we do.
  • Freedom – each person has the freedom to grow and the freedom to serve as our Lord leads.
  • Simplicity – we keep the process and the administration as simple as possible.
